Coyote Reproduction

Coyotes are monogamous; they find a partner for life.

The coyote will reach sexual maturity after 1 year. It mates between January and March. The gestation period is 63 days. One to nineteen pups are born. Pups are born blind. Only 5-20% of coyote pups survive their first year.
